Just hours after media reports had showed that the website of the Niger Delta Avengers, www.nigerdeltavengers.com had become inaccessible to the public, the militant group have launched a new website, www.nigerdeltaavengers.org.
NAIJ.com recalls that the militant group had promoted its attacks on oil installations in the Niger Delta, through the former website before it was shutdown.
However, the group on Sunday, June 5, stated via its Twitter handle (@NDAvengers) that its old website was never shutdown, but underwent maintenance.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari is reportedly studying the gazette signed by late President Umaru Yar’Adua on the Niger Delta crisis as one of the possible ways of resolving the growing menace of the Niger Delta Avengers.
