Following the continued bombing of oil installations by the Niger Delta Avengers, soldiers have intensified their search for members of the group and have been raiding communities in the region.

On Sunday, June 5, soldiers raided Ogulaghan community an Ijaw kingdom in Burutu local government area of Delta state.

According to the report, the president was studying the gazette signed by late President Umaru Yar’Adua on the Niger Delta crisis as one of the possible ways of resolving the growing menace of the Niger Delta Avengers.
