Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, a renowned film maker otherwise known as D' Guvnor, the maker of great movies like Last Burial, Issakaba, Games Men play, the current multiple award winning movie; Invasion 1897 etc, has just concluded another Blockbuster in his state of origin, Edo State. The movie which is titled "No Longer Smiling features the likes of Eve Esin who played the role of Debbie, Ruth Kadiri who featured as Yinka, Seun Akindele playing the character of Solomon and Mary Lazarus as Pecky.
The story has a unique setting that begins in the cemetery and ends there but while the funeral rites were going on by the grave side, a reflection of Sheffy's life, the deceased is played on retrospect from the different perspectives of his friends/roommates in school.
Some of the crew behind the scene are Ajayi Osahon (Director of photography. DOP), Legend D (2nd DOP), Chris Orioha-Marcus (Assistant Director), Opute C. Joel (Continuity Personnel) Wendy Uwadiae Imasuen (Production Manager), Samuel Edobor Imasuen and Nnamdi Daniels as Set Designers and Property Managers, Izuchukwu Anozie and Musiliu Fatai as Sound Engineers, John Anijesu as lighting personnel, Idemmili Jennifer as Constumier, Elizabeth Ogbuefi as Make-up Artist and lots more.
Watchout for this Blockbuster as it will be released into the cinema and the general market soon. For the information of all, he will be commencing the shoot of another Blockbuster on Wednesday, 15th of June 2016 with over six Nollywood Superstars including the award winning actor Daniel K. Daniel (DKD) the winner of AMVCA 2015/2016 and the just concluded AMAA 2015/2016. Watchout for these Blockbusters by a professional.
