Opute C. Joel hales from Onitsha Ukwuani Community in Ndokwa West LGA, Delta State but he was born and breed up in Benin City, Edo State.
He entered the Movie industry in Nigeria(Nollywood) in the year 2004 with so much passion for film making by registering with the Actors Guild of Nigeria(AGN). With so much zeal and passion for the industry and, constant participation in the guild's activities, he became the Assistant Secretary of AGN Edo State Chapter in 2008. After rendering a diligent service as the guild's Assistant Secretary, the members of the guild magnanimously voted for him as their Secretary General in the year 2011. He has featured in so many movies like Brutal Heart, Kings Battle, Home in Exile, Ikoka, ASP, Uncontrollable Desire, Invasion 1897, Iyore etc try and has been privileged to work with many big Directors in Nollywood like Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, Frank Rajah Arase, Andy Amenechi, Osagie Elegbe, Sylvester Uwadiae etc. He is currently a Screen Writer, a Director and also a Producer. He is an easy going person who has enjoyed working with so many persons and also looking forward to working with more.
